For a long time now, Marvel has been the one making the biggest and most successful comic book movies, but with recent hits like Aquaman and Wonder Woman, DC’s fortunes appear to changing for the better. Both studios have eight films scheduled to release between 2020 and 2022.
The result of the following five battles were determined by the readers’ votes: Superman (DC) vs. the Hulk (Marvel). After exchanging punches and a burst of heat vision, Superman won the fight eventually. Spider-Man (Marvel) vs. Superboy (DC).
When looking at overall popularity of fandoms, Marvel came in at the top, with 63 percent of adults saying they are a fan of the superhero franchise. “Star Wars” tied for second (60 percent) with pop culture in general, with the DC Universe coming in right behind them at 59 percent.
Of course, Iron Man ranks highly in the list of fan-favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe characters. We love this character 3000.

Because it was”the first female-led solo movie in the MCU, and with Carol Danvers then slated to be the universe’s most powerful hero, there was a pushback against Captain Marvel’s perceived agenda from an extremely vocal minority.” These fans only became more upset about the movie as the marketing for the film …
Do Avengers hate working with Brie Larson and Captain Marvel? The answer is a foggy yes. In the same interview that Chris Hemsworth (Marvel’s Thor) says he loves Brie Larson, he also had an argument with her. In fact, in the same interview, Don Cheadle also had an awkward moment with the Captain Marvel actress.
Simply put, Jackson said Fury never contacted Captain Marvel because the threat against Earth was never big enough to warrant the call. Fury’s mentality was that if the current superheroes on Earth were capable of handling a threat themselves, then Captain Marvel wasn’t needed.
Just before he disappeared from existence in Avengers: Infinity War, Nick Fury managed to send a distress signal to Captain Marvel. We saw the symbol of the superhero in the pager-like device that Fury used to call her for help.
Co-writer Christopher Markus revealed at Comic-Con that there was a very simple reason for Fury’s absence. He said: “We have such a traffic jam of heroes and so much power that to have a guy who, in combat, would just be firing a gun… it doesn’t come off well for Nick Fury, frankly.”
After that was revealed, it got fans questioning everything. But the movie doesn’t give fans much, other than confirming that Fury was a Skrull, at least for the duration of Far From Home. You can also deduce that the space station the real Fury is on is S.W.O.R.D.
Nick Fury also cameoed in Avengers: Endgame, but only during Tony Stark’s funeral. He was nowhere to be seen in the final battle that had the recently-returned dusted and those who’s survived The Decimation battling Thanos and his forces.
When it comes down to it, Thanos knows Stark as the man who thwarted his efforts to take over Earth via Loki in 2012’s The Avengers. “Which is why he’s aware of Stark from the original Battle of New York as the person who undid the plan,” Joe Russo said, giving extra meaning to Thanos having respect for Iron Man.
Tony created the would-be “murder bot” to combat some type of unstoppable alien threat, but in doing so, he was giving into the very same kind of fear that drove Thanos to concoct his genocide of “balance.” This is yet another reason that Thanos fears Stark — he respects the human’s efforts to protect his planet, and …
He called Wanda his child because he thinks he is a god. Hes just calling her my child because maybe she reminds him of Gamora.
But, during their battle, Thanos strikes Cap’s shield and breaks it in half. It’s something we’ve never seen in the MCU—unheard of. As the Marvel wiki explains: Made from vibranium, it is able to absorb and reflect kinetic energy, enabling it to withstand impacts that would break a shield made of any other material.

3 Answers. The only people in the comics to have broken Cap’s shield can be classed as cosmic/deity level figures. Hulk has never been able to break Captain America’s shield, it stands to reason Superman wouldn’t be able to achieve that feat either.
Superman is stronger than Thor. Ergo, Superman can break adamantium and vibranium. Superman can just get more sunlight until he is strong enough to break vibranium and adamantium. Thor can break adamantium, but he has a hard time doing so, even with Mjolnir.
The strongest element known to man inn the Marvel Cinematic Universe was no match for the blade which Thanos was wielding in Avengers: Endgame. Captain America’s shield is made of Vibranium, a super strong metal which is mostly found in Wakanda, but Thanos’ shield is made of something stronger.
