As the teacher, locate your assignment folder in GDrive. Right click and open sharing options. Choose OFF, then SAVE. This way, my students can only see their own work and no one else’s.
Go to another classroom that you would like to post the same assignment in and navigate to the classwork tab. Click the “create” button in the upper right and select “reuse assignment”.
You can reuse an announcement, assignment, or question from a class. When you reuse a post, you can: Use it in the original class or in a different class. Make copies of any attachments, including rubrics, or add new ones.
If you are typing the grade in a shared Google document, even though you did not return it, they should be able to see the grade. However, if you are entering a ‘draft” grade in Google Classroom, and did not return it, then no, they cannot see the draft grade.
This article is for students. You can see your overall grade if your teacher shares it. Not all teachers share overall grades, so you might not see it.
Click CLASSES on the top menu bar, and then click Assignments below the class name. Click the assignment you want to hide. In the column that opens on the right, select Hide from the Actions menu.
Your teacher can view the deleted and added documents in Drive and Classroom.
Create grade categories for Weighted by category grading
From the gradebook go into any assignment. Click the settings wheel on the right. Then click download all grades. A CSV file will be generated in your Downloads folder.
Unfortunately “Guardians” (Parents) can’t see grades, they are not included in the Guardian Summary email. Grades are between Teacher-Student, so students will have to show them. Our automated system analyzes replies to choose the one that’s most likely to answer the question.
Scroll to the bottom of the Assignment Report to the INCOMPLETE ASSIGNMENTS list. Use the checkboxes to select the students you want to exempt and click EXEMPT FROM ASSIGNMENT. To add these students back to the assignment, you can click the checkbox next to a student’s name in the EXEMPTED FROM ASSIGNMENT list.
While there’s not a way to mark it as excused, you can remove the student from the assignment by editing the assignment and deselecting the checkbox next to the student’s name in the dropdown menu.
Go to classroom.google.com. At the top, click Classwork the assignment View Assignment. On the Student Work page, click Settings Copy all grades to Google Sheets. The spreadsheet is created in your Classroom Drive folder.
It is important to note that parents cannot access any part of your Google Classroom or view your class stream. Therefore, they do not have access to view their child’s grades.
