As a teacher, you can attach documents, links, and images to assignments for your students. Classroom works seamlessly with Google Docs, Google Drive, and Gmail.
When you assign to a class imported from Google Classroom, you will see an option to choose ‘Students Write in a Google Doc’, which lets students access an embedded Google Doc inside Writable. The student will open their stream post, open the link to Writable, and see a screen like this one.
Open any text box or app that you can type in, like Docs or Gmail. Tap into the text box. The handwriting pad should appear. If you don’t see Handwrite: At the top of the virtual keyboard, tap the Right arrow , then Handwrite .
Open your Google Doc as normal. Click “Insert” then “Drawing”. Add whatever text or shapes or other items you need as usual. When ready to add handwriting, click the “Line” button in the toolbar, then choose “Scribble” from the drop-down menu.
Any type of text can be annotated, such as a book; a poem; or an article from a website, newspaper, or magazine. When you annotate, you clarify vocabulary, ask questions, and identify main points. You make your notes right in the text you are reading.

You don’t need a Google Account to participate in Meet video meetings. However, if you don’t have a Google Account, the meeting organizer or someone from the organization must grant you access to the meeting. Tip: If you are not signed into a Google or Gmail account, you cannot join using your mobile device.
The Rules of Muting Others in Google Meet Anyone in a Google Meet conference can mute anyone else. If you mute someone, no one in the conference will be able to hear them. When you mute someone, everyone will be notified that you have muted the person. You cannot unmute someone once they have been muted.
Check the unmute button in your screen. In your Google Meet room, you will see the following three circle buttons at the bottom of your screen. When this microphone icon on the left is red and has a slash, this mutes the microphone. Click on it to unmute your audio.
Make sure all your devices are securely connected, and turned on. Some microphones have mute buttons, including some headsets. Make sure your microphone is not muted. Make sure that the microphone and speaker settings display the speaker and microphone option that you will be using for the meeting.

Change camera or microphone settings Visit https://meet.google.com. Start or join a meeting. Near the top right, in the location bar, you may see a “blocked camera” or “blocked microphone” icon. Click Done.

You can choose an open tab (e.g. My Drive) to play videos directly from Google Drive, or if you had YouTube open. Choose the tab and click Share. It defaults to Share Audio. Once you are done presenting, go back to the Google Meet, and choose Stop Presenting.
