When abbreviating a decade span, put an apostrophe before the numbers (facing the correct way) but NOT before the “s.” A decade cannot possess anything! NOT 60’s, but ’60s. Example: The nineties were a great decade.
“The 70’s are my favorite decade.” or “The ’70s are my favorite decade.” If you guessed the latter, you are correct. The apostrophe in ’70s is forming a contraction for the numbers you are replacing in the spelled out version “1970s.” Never put the apostrophe before the “s” when describing decades.
How to Write Decades. Here’s a tip: Decades should be written as two-digit numbers with an apostrophe before them and an s after them (e.g., ’90s). When in doubt, write it out. You can write the entire decade in numerals with an s after it (e.g., 1990s), or write out the words (e.g., the nineties).
DO write a decade as a two-digit number with an apostrophe before it and an “s” after it, as the apostrophe takes the place of the century digits. DON’T use an “apostrophe -s” at all when writing decades.২০ ফেব, ২০১৯
Do Not Abbreviate The Year 2020 As “20” When Writing The Date: Use “January 3, 2020,” Not “1/3/20” While many of us normally abbreviate years – for example, by writing 2019 as “19” – doing so in 2020 can be dangerous.৩ জানু, ২০২০
When we talk about 2020 as the worst year ever we mean many entangled things: A pandemic. The death and economic destruction caused by the pandemic. The governmental mismanagement of the pandemic. Floyd’s death led to legitimate and important protests, some of them accompanied by looting.১৮ আগস্ট, ২০২০
While quote the date in any financial or legal document you must write the date in full format. For example, you must write 31/01/2020 and not as This is because anyone can make changes in the date.৩১ ডিসেম্বর, ২০১৯
Authorities are warning that anyone abbreviating the year as “20” when dating documents could put themselves at risk of fraud. They recommend writing out the date in full on legal documents and checks to avoid this.
By writing out the date as (January 1, 2020), the date can be fraudulently changed to 2019, 2021, or any other date in this century. But abbreviating 2020 to 20 means that a criminal could write two numbers after the 20 to imply that the document was dated before or after it actually was.৩ জানু, ২০২০
Authorities are warning that shortening “2020” to just “20” could leave you vulnerable to fraud. If you wrote a signed check dated “1/3/20,” for example, a scammer could easily change the date to read “2019,” “2000,” or any other year from this century. When writing the date in 2020, write the year in its entirety.৩ জানু, ২০২০
Do not abbreviate 2020.” He said via Twitter: “When writing the date in 2020, write the year in its entirety. It could possibly protect you and prevent legal issues on paperwork. Example: If you just write 1/1/20, one could easily change it to 1/1/2017 (for instance) and now your signature is on an incorrect document.”৪ জানু, ২০২০
The basic idea here is that you write down a date, like January 1st, 2020. If you abbreviated it to 1/1/20, it’s possible that someone could add two more numbers to the end to change the year.২ জানু, ২০২০
For example, twenty twenty, 2020, twenty 20 or even 20 Twenty.১৮ ডিসেম্বর, ২০১৯
The new year is giving scammers an easy way to forge documents, but you can protect yourself with an easy New Year’s resolution: Stop abbreviating the year. Why? The concern is that scammers could easily manipulate a document dated “1/1/20” into “1/1/2000” or even “1/1/2021.”২ জানু, ২০২০
According to this source the correct symbol to abbreviate year using two digits is an apostrophe: When abbreviating a year, remove the first two numbers and indicate the omission by using an apostrophe: 2009 becomes ’09 (not ’09) 2010 becomes ’10 (not ’10)
I would write it as “August 4–5,” because the presentation is taking place on two consecutive days. (Nobody assumes it’s a 48-hour presentation.) I would use “and” if the dates are not contiguous: “The concerts will be held on August 4 and 6.”
When writing a date, a comma is used to separate the day from the month, and the date from the year. July 4, 1776, was an important day in American history. But if you’re writing the date in day-month-year format, you don’t need a comma.
When the date appears in the middle of a sentence, commas should appear both before and after the year. No comma is used between the month and the year when they are the only two elements in the date. The store closed its doors for good in October 1958.
The international standard recommends writing the date as year, then month, then the day: YYYY-MM-DD. So if both the Australian and American used this, they would both write the date as ১৩ জানু, ২০১৯

According to wikipedia, the only countries that use the MM/DD/YYYY system are the US, the Philippines, Palau, Canada, and Micronesia.২৭ জুন, ২০০৮

The day-month-year order has been increasing in usage since the early 1980s. The year-month-day order, such as the ISO 8601 “YYYY-MM-DD” notation is popular in computer applications because it reduces the amount of code needed to resolve and compute dates.
