There are people who cry everyday for no particularly good reason, who are truly sad. And if you are tearful everyday over activities that are normal in your life, that may be depression. And that’s not normal and it is treatable.
According to researchers in California, shedding some tears will release toxins from our body and reduce stress. That reduction in stress helps your body burn fat. Crying is a sign of strength because it is a demonstration of a completely comfortable relationship with the self. Choosing to cry and feel is a choice in the interest of one’s emotional health. Choosing to cry is also choosing not to care about the opinions of others.
But if you cry a lot, it may mean you’re having difficulty dealing with your stress. Or you might feel helpless when stuck in certain situations or talking to certain people. Or, according to research , you might be stressed out by, or have trouble reading, people’s facial expressions.
First things first, there is nothing wrong with crying. Some people cry more than others and it is absolutely fine. In fact, crying is good as it is a natural stress reliever. So, someone who cries may actually be better off than someone who does not.

This type of crying may result from a mental health condition, such as burnout, anxiety, or depression. It might instead stem from hormonal imbalances or neurological conditions.
