If you create an assignment, post it, AND THEN try to edit it, you will not have the option to make a copy for each student. Go to “Classwork” and use the “Reuse post” option to make a copy of your assignment, but this time select make a copy for each student the FIRST time you post it.
This means that you don’t need to make a copy for each student; each student will receive the same questions/quiz through the use of the Form. You will then be able to see all of the responses that were collected in the one Form.
Select the Assignment by student tab, and then select the student’s name. Click the arrow to the left of the assignment you want to hide, and then click Remove.
As the teacher, locate your assignment folder in GDrive. Right click and open sharing options. Choose OFF, then SAVE. This way, my students can only see their own work and no one else’s.
Unfortunately, that’s not currently possible in Google Classroom- assignments don’t show in the calendar until they are posted with a due date.
View due dates in your Classroom calendar
When you click “ask,” a new box of options pops up: Check “see and reply to each other’s answers” to allow students to view answers and respond to each other similar to a discussion board. Uncheck this option to keep the responses private between you and each student. You can also allow students to edit their answers.
The team is continuously making improvements and updates to Google Classroom. However, you can use a Chrome extension called Kami to annotate on the PDF file. Upgrade to the free teacher account and you will be able to integrate it with Google Drive and Classroom.
You can decide how students can post and comment in Classroom. If you allow posting or commenting, students can’t edit their posts or comments, but they can delete them. Teachers can delete any post or comment.
Click the class and choose an option:

Unfortunately, that’s not currently possible in Google Classroom. You will need to remove the student from the current class and have them join the new one. All work will be retained in the Classroom folder on Drive.
Unfortunately, merging classrooms is not currently possible in Google Classroom. If you would like to provide feedback or request a feature about merging classes, you can select the “?” in the bottom left corner of your Google Classroom and select the option “Report issue or request feature” and explain it there.
Hello! Welcome to Google Classroom Help Community. There is not an option to import a student roster, however, you can send an invite to a Google Group if it already exists. You can find more information on this page under “Invite students or groups of students”.
How Can I Invite A Parent?
You don’t need to have Gmail enabled to use Classroom. However, if your administrator hasn’t enabled Gmail, teachers and students won’t receive email notifications.
When a teacher invites a parent to Classroom, they can see daily and weekly summaries of what their child has accomplished, and view any class announcements. Now parents won’t be taken by surprise when it comes time to have that annual parent-teacher conference.
Yes students may access Google Classroom from home.
You can email a single student, a group of students, or an entire class. You can also send a private note to a student when you grade and return an assignment. To email students, Gmail must be turned on for you and your students. You can’t send an email to more than 100 recipients at once.
Emailing Parents Through Google Classroom From the People tab, clicking on the student name will open a student summary page. The parent or student can be emailed this summary by clicking on the envelope icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen.
On the right side of the assignemnt window student will see a box with Private comments. The student can type the message and then click the over arrow button to send the message. When teacher replies student will see all message in the Private comments box. 1.
